A 4x4 vehicle ended up on its roof after trying to negotiate a steep driveway in Halling.
Firefighters from Strood were called out to Pilgrims Road, in the village at about noon on Sunday.
It is understood the driver's wife became trapped in the Mitsubishi Shogan, and had to be freed by the crew.
They cut the windscreen out of the vehicle to free her and she was checked out by paramedics afterwards and was deemed well enough not to be taken to hospital.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service, said: "The couple were visiting the address and as the driver reversed down the steep driveway, the accident happened and the vehicle flipped over.
"We made the scene safe and then left."
