Woman dies after emergency response near Beefeater restaurant in Rainham High Street

A woman has died after a medical incident near a restaurant.
Police and paramedics were called to Rainham High Street after reports of a person needing medical attention, near Manor Farm Beefeater.
Images shared online showed several emergency vehicles stationed outside the restaurant after they were called last Wednesday afternoon (October 23).
Emergency services have since confirmed a woman in her 50s died at the scene.
A police spokesman said: “We were called by the ambulance service to a medical incident in Rainham High Street at 3.45pm on October 23.
“Officers attended the scene where a woman in her 50s was subsequently confirmed to be deceased.”
The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report is being completed for the coroner.
Police say the woman’s next of kin have been informed.
