Woman seriously injured after being hit by car outside Casino Rooms in Rochester

A young woman suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car outside a popular nightclub in the Towns.
The woman was hit by the car outside the Casino Rooms in Blue Boar Lane, Rochester, shorty after 3am this morning.
Police and paramedics were called out to the scene and the woman was taken to a London hospital suffering from serious injuries.
It is understood after the crash two men then apparently caused damage to the vehicle involved.
The pair, who are both from Chatham were arrested and are still in custody.
The incident happened close to the junction with Corporation Street shortly after the nightclub closed.
It is not know at this stage how old the woman is, but it is understood she suffered leg injuries during the collision.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: “We were called at 3.11am following a collision involving a car and a woman in Blue Boar Lane, Rochester.
“Police and ambulance crews attended the scene and the woman was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries.
“It was reported that following the incident criminal damage was caused to the vehicle involved.
“Two men, aged 23 and 25 from Chatham were arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and have now been released pending further investigation."
