Woman taken to hospital after G4S security van crash in Union Street, Chatham

A woman was taken to hospital after a crash between a car and G4S security van in a town centre.
Police were called to the collision in Union Street, Chatham, near to the empty Go Outdoors store, at about 12.15pm.
Patrols remained at the scene while arrangements were made to recover the van.
The ambulance service was also alerted but later stood down.
The woman, the driver of the car, was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital as a precaution.
