Firefighters rescue woman from car on its side after crash in St Williams Way, Rochester

Firefighters had to rescue a woman from a car after it ended up on its side following a crash.
Two fire engines attended the accident which involved two vehicles in St Williams Way, Rochester shortly after 6pm.
Pictures showed police tape around the scene and crews working to stablise one of the cars which had overturned.
One of the passengers was rescued from the car before being passed into the care of paramedics.
The fire service left shortly after 7.15pm.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended the scene where a parked car had also been damaged.
“The two drivers were treated for injuries and then taken to a local hospital for further medical attention whilst arrangements were made to recover both vehicles.”
