Woman taken to hospital after crash on A228 near Halling

A woman has been seriously injured in a head-on crash during rush hour this morning.
The woman, whose age is not known, had to be cut from her car following the accident on the A228 near Halling.
She has been taken to hospital, thought to be King’s College in London, but the extent of her injuries are not yet clear.
Police, ambulance and fire services were called to the scene just after 7am.
The road was blocked until about 11am and traffic was diverted through Halling village.
One other person was also injured and taken to hospital.
Further details have not yet been released by Kent Police.
