Rochester robbery victim has rings stolen from her finger as police arrest and charge suspect

A woman had two rings stolen from her hand during an audacious alleged robbery.
Police were called after the incident when the suspected robber, known to the victim, went to a house in Rochester last week.
West Higgins has since been charged with robbery after he was arrested on Saturday afternoon, the day after the alleged incident took place.
It is alleged Higgins removed both items of jewellery from the woman's finger at the property in Rushdean Road on Friday.
The 32-year-old of Humber Crescent, Strood was arrested, charged and appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on Monday.
He was remanded in custody and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on December 7.
