Woman raped in The Vines, Rochester

A young woman has been raped in a park on her way home from a night out.
The victim, who is in her 20s, was walking through The Vines, in Rochester when a man attacked her and raped her.
The pair did not know each other, but are reported to have met earlier.
It is believed the incident happened between 2.30am and 4.30am.
Police are searching for a man described as being white, of slim build and aged in his late teens or early 20s.
He had short dark hair and facial hair.
Officers cordoned off the whole of the park as well as Vines Lane this morning.
Anyone with information concerning the incident is urged to call Kent Police on 01634 792209, quoting reference 24-0212.
Officers are also asking residents living in properties close to the area to check any CCTV they may have.
