Billy Bingham faces another spell on the sidelines.
The Gillingham midfielder picked up an injury towards the end of the first half at Wycombe.
Bingham, 28, has been plagued by injury problems ever since making the move to the Gills 18 months ago. Injuries have restricted him to 22 league starts.
He was back in the starting line-up at Adams Park having missed the trip to Sunderland with an ankle injury, but limped off with a calf strain.
Manager Steve Lovell is hoping the latest injury doesn’t keep the midfielder out for long.
Lovell said: “He has had so much bad luck with injury, I am so disappointed for him.
“He has worked so hard to get back and it’s the worst thing in the world to be injured as a footballer. When you’ve got yourself back fit and back in the team, it is horrible.
“Let’s hope it isn’t too bad and he is back soon.”
Bingham was clearly upset at picking up another injury, sitting on the bench after being substituted with his shirt over his head.
Taking his place at the weekend was Dean Parrett.
Lovell said: “People might have thought that Darren Oldaker would be the perfect replacement for Billy, but I wanted a bit of experience in there.
“There are options and there are different kind of games. At Sunderland the other night (where Oldaker started) we had a lot of time on the ball, and Dean has been patient. He (Parrett) was excellent.”
Another substitute, Tahvon Campbell, made his debut coming on for Tom Eaves.
“Tav could hold the ball up and battle and he will get better,” added Lovell.
