Team Mystify from Chatham-based MCDA Allstars will compete in the Allstar World Championship as UK representatives in Orlando, Florida

A cheerleading team from Chatham will be representing the UK in the Allstar World Championship.
Team Mystify of MCDA Allstars won a bid to compete in the prestigious competition which takes place in Orlando, Florida between April 19-21.
Bids are won by attaining the highest scores at a UK regional competition.
A group of 10 girls aged between 10-13 will be competing.
Team members are Armani-Louise Jove, Francesca Baxter, Mia Leonard, Crystal Smith, Lilly Gilbert, Jessica Nevin, Matilda Newbury-Smith,Ellarose Perrin, Kaitlyne Beer and Lottie Benson.
The Youth level 1 Elite team are excited to be fulfilling big dreams of competing in the USA at a worlds tournament.
They may only be a small and young team but have big ambitions and competing in America is the first step.
Head coach Joleen Barling said: “I’m extremely proud of the team who have dedicated the last seven months to their sport.
“We are only a small club, so to have won a bid is such an amazing opportunity for the young ladies in Team Mystify.”
The girls have had to cope with an increased training schedule in preparation for the trip and have also been fundraising, organising raffles, boot fairs, discos and also cake sales.
The team are still fundraising for expenses and people can help by donating to their GoFundMe page. They are close to hitting their £3,000 target.
Money raised is going towards training wear, specialised footwear, hair bows, extra training sessions, gym rentals whilst in Orlando, team build activities and competition entry fees.
