Chatham Town chairman Kevin Hake will continue to manage the side next season but has a new assistant.
Experienced striker Danny Kedwell is to work as Hake’s no.2 while Tim Moffatt will take on first-team coaching duties.
Hake led Chats to promotion in a dual role as chairman/manager last season, finishing second to Sheppey in the Southern Counties East Football League. Promotion ends a five-year spell outside of the Isthmian League.
He took over managerial responsibility after Scott Lindsey left the club shortly before the 2021/22 season was about to start, preferring to lead the side himself with Carl Laraman helping out in a director of football role.
Laraman left the Chats shortly after promotion was secured.
Kedwell joined Chatham as a player last season following a management spell at Cray Wanderers. He will be signing on as a player again for the 2022/23 season.
Moffatt has worked as a coach at Chelsea and Charlton and was instrumental in setting up Chatham's successful youth academy.
Behind the scenes the team have been in talks with new players which will be announced in due course.
Chats, meanwhile, recently picked up a Queen’s Award for their voluntary work in the community.
