Bradley Dack has been nominated for the Sky Bet League 1 player-of-the-month award for February.
The midfielder enjoyed a prolific spell infront of goal during the month as the Gills pulled clear of the relegation fight.
Dack, 21, scored three goals during the month, as he revelled in his favoured position behind the front two strikers.
A goal against Walsall at the start of February was followed by the opener in a 2-1 win at Peterborough United.
He was on target again four days later as the Gills beat promotion-chasers MK Dons 4-2 at Priestfield.
Dack has also helped to provide the ammunition for the Gills as they scored 11 goals in six games, losing just once.
He faces tough competition for the award, however.
Bristol City’s Aden Flint, Crawley Town’s Izale McLeod and Sheffield United’s Jamie Murphy are also in the running.
The winner will be announced on Friday.
