Gillingham midfielder Bradley Dack has been tipped for bigger and better things by his manager.
But Justin Edinburgh hopes Gillingham’s exciting 21-year-old can continue to flourish at Priestfield.
Dack has been making headlines in the last week. He scored a stunning goal in the 4-0 opening day win against Sheffield United last Saturday and produced a cool finish to equalise in the Capital One Cup game at Plymouth on Tuesday night.
Dack has become a key man under Edinburgh and the Gills boss knows he’s got a special player on his hands.
He said: “They were top finishes and he is a top player
“He has got class. It probably wasn’t his best game on Tuesday but he can pop up just like that to score and that is a good trait to have.
“He has got potential, big potential. I think he will go on but that could be with us and that is what we want to try and do.
“Right now he is playing well, enjoying his football and loves playing for this club. We will just concentrate on what we are doing here.”
Gills travel to Port Vale on Saturday in League 1.
