Tom Dallas ready for ring return against Czech Republic's Tomas Mrazek
08:00, 12 July 2013
The wait will be over for heavyweight boxer Tom Dallas when he returns to the ring this weekend.
Dallas hasn’t fought since competing in Prizefighter last June.
Since then, the 27-year-old Chatham boxer has switched promoters and had surgery to correct a problematic elbow.
Now he’s ready to put on a display at York Hall in Bethnal Green on Saturday night to show everyone that he is back in business.
He faces tough Czech journeyman Tomas Mrazek in a scheduled six-rounder.
Dallas said: “I’m not going to be all cocky and just say I’m going to stop him but there will be no holding back and I’m aiming to knock him out.
“Even if I don’t stop him, he’ll certainly know he’s been in a fight by Sunday morning. He doesn’t get stopped often and if I do, then that will send out a message to everyone.”
