Grant Dennis wants to beat Lewis Taylor and take his English middleweight belt

Grant Dennis believes he is already good enough to snatch the English middleweight title.
Dennis topped the bill at the Medway Park boxing show last Saturday and eased to a 40-35 points victory over Iain Jackson.
It was Dennis’s fourth professional win from four fights and he’s already eyeing up Lewis Taylor’s English belt.
He said: “I’ve got to take my time but now feel I can already beat Taylor. I’ve seen him in action and know what he is about.
“He’s had 18 professional fights and I’ve only had four but I would beat him now. He’s got the belt and I want it.
“I would love to go into his back garden and take the belt off him. I would take that fight if it was offered. I would be too quick and strong for him.
“My manager might not think it’s a good idea and I’ll go with what he and my trainer thinks but I know they have confidence in my ability.”
