Kent boxers were in title action on Friday night, with Adam Dingsdale claiming a Masters belt and Dan Woodgate narrowly missing out on a Southern Area.
Hoo's Adam Dingsdale claimed the British Masters lightweight title at Medway Park after emerging victorious against Bulgarian Yordan Vasilev - for the second time in his career.
Over 1,000 fight fans were at the Gillingham venue to witness a nine-bout show.
Topping the bill was the battle between Erith’s Lewis Pettitt and Devon’s Jamie Speight for the Southern Area super bantamweight title.
And it was Dingsdale’s ibox stablemate Pettitt who came out on top of a thrilling fight, winning on points 97-95.
Thanet’s Dan Woodgate was also fighting for a Southern Area title, in the light heavyweight division.
Another entertaining fight saw Leon Senior hold onto his crown, 97-94 on points.
Woodgate immediately called for a rematch.
“I want a rematch,” Woodgate tweeted.
“I don’t think it was the worst decision ever but I am 100% that I won it was close but I know what punches landed and what didn’t.”
