Invicta Dynamos are looking to bounce back from last weekend’s disappointments - but the opponents don’t get much tougher.

The Mos were beaten by Solent Devils and Chelmsford Chieftains last weekend. Next up is Saturday’s trip to NIHL Division 1 South league leaders Slough Jets, followed by Sunday’s home game against champions and third-placed side Streatham (5.45pm).

Head coach Karl Lennon said: “We have fallen off the pace after last weekend’s results. We couldn’t have picked two harder games to go into again.

“We have to take some confidence from previous performances against these teams but we are not in form and we need to find form. If that means complete simplicity in how we perform, how we play, there has to be a bit of reflection on what happened at the weekend, and a reality has to set in.

“As a club, it wasn’t good enough and we need to be better.

“I was quiet after Sunday’s game with the boys because they know that they upset me as coach and a few of the leaders within the team took accountability and responsibility to speak up in that situation, but the talking is now done, it’s about doing. We have to put it right.”

Lennon hasn’t lost any belief in his men but wants them to believe in themselves.

“There is more talent there than they know,” he said.

“I have said that to them many times, you can’t beat Streatham, Slough and Chelmsford already this season and it be a personnel problem. The talent is there to do it when you want to do it, it is application and attitude that is affecting us at the moment, those are things we can actually control.

“We have work to do, that is good, we can be better, which is good, it is not the people, it is the process and the application.

“If we start to do that better then we will be fine, if we continue to do what we want to do, instead of what we’ve been asked to do, then there will be problems all night long.”
