Invicta Dynamos show their quality in back-to-back cup wins against Wightlink Raiders

Two big cup wins have confirmed Invicta Dynamos’ title-challenging status.
On Saturday the Mos and the Wightlink Raiders took a break from league action as they squared up on the ice for cup duties.
Dynamos won 7-1 on the Isle of Wight – against a team starting the weekend sitting top of the league – in the Southern Cup and returned to Kent the following day, where they beat the same team 8-3 in the Southeast Trophy.
“I would have been happy with a draw at their place but we outclassed them, simple as that,” said Parrish.
“We came back here and could have been complacent in the second game but again we took the game to them.
“To be successful we need to be consistent and we need to have our A-game every time. We did that at the weekend and we need to do that again this week.
“We have proved to the rest of the league that we are in it, that we aren’t here to be messed with and that we can be pushing for the title. We certainly have a team that is capable.”
