Teenage blueliner Elliott Dewey has been added to Invicta Dynamos’ 2014/15 roster.
The 17-year-old made a handful of appearances for EPL side Basingstoke Bisons last season.
Mos coach Kevin Parrish, who had Dewey in for training sessions last season, now hopes the youngster can continue his development in NIHL South.
He said: “He showed plenty of promise in each of the sessions.
“I’d best describe him as an out and out ‘stay at home’ defenceman who possesses a good positional sense and I look forward to him bringing that talent to the team in 2014/15.
“It is a big year for Elliott but he has the ability to make this step to becoming an NIHL South Division 1 regular.”
Parrish has also completed the signing of import Juraj Huska for another season.
The 32-year-old Slovakian top scored for the Mos in the 2013/14 season with 57 goals and added 49 assists.
Parrish said: “Juraj’s accuracy in front of goal is beyond doubt and his ability to finish is perhaps as good as it gets at this level.
“He’s the sort of player that draws special attention from opposing teams and that’s the type of talent that wins you games and hopefully wins you silverware."
