Gillingham manager Justin Edinburgh searching for the right formation to take on Crewe Alexandra

Gillingham manager Justin Edinburgh is on the hunt for another winning formula.
A three-game losing streak was halted with a goalless draw at Scunthorpe last weekend.
Second-from-bottom Crewe are the visitors to Priestfield on Saturday and Edinburgh is ready to tinker again to reignite the club’s promotion push.
A handful of injuries to key men have made life tough in recent weeks.
Edinburgh said: “We have been a consistent team over the duration of the season but picking up the injuries meant we have had to chop and change and we are looking for a winning formula.”
In recent weeks both personnel and formations have been trialled.
He added: “You always want to make sure you pick the right formation that suits your best players and that is at the forefront of my mind as we lead up to Crewe.
“I have got to feel that the best players go into the best formation. I will pick the formation that suits what I feel are the best players to go and win the game.
“It might be different to what we have been playing, with the consistent balance we have had but it has come to that now.
“We have to get some consistency back – the winning formula back – a settled system and personnel.
“We can then get the injured players back and have a real strong push towards the latter part of the season.”
