Justin Edinburgh is prepared to ring the changes in a bid to end Gillingham’s mini slump.
The Gills have suffered back-to-back defeats, the latest at Barnsley on Saturday, and boss Edinburgh is now set to utilise other members of his squad.
Bradley Garmston, Aaron Morris, Rory Donnelly and Jordan Houghton could all find
themselves returned to the starting XI tomorrow (Tuesday) for the visit of Fleetwood.
The manager may even look to change formation and give Jermaine McGlashan a run-out.
Edinburgh said: “We’ve got back-to-back home games now and we have to make them count and to get back on track. What we don’t want to do is let this good start fizzle out.
“We said there would be some ups and downs with this group and there are fresh challenges ahead.
“The levels of performance have been excellent so far this season and maybe it’s something we will look at going into the next few games where maybe we could freshen things up.
“There are plenty of players (to choose from) and that’s food for thought. I thought Rory Donnelly came on (against Barnsley) and looked very lively."
