Gills boss Justin Edinburgh hopes a return to Priestfield will bring to an end their dip in form.
An unbeaten start to their League 1 campaign ended with successive defeats on the road, against Colchester and Barnsley.
Gillingham’s next two visitors to Priestfield have both struggled for form this season.
The visit of 19th place Fleetwood on Tuesday is followed by a home game against Oldham on Saturday. They currently sit 20th in the League 1 table but could be a tougher test now under the management of David Dunn.
“We are looking forward to getting back and getting a performance infront of our own fans,” said the Gills manager, who has hinted that he may shuffle the pack for the midweek match.
“We have travelled in good numbers on Saturday and they will have gone away disappointed. The level of performance has to be better and we will certainly be looking to create more chances than we did on Saturday.”
The Gills held onto third place in the table despite a second successive loss but Edinburgh, who has now tasted back-to-back defeats at the club for the first time, won’t want the run to get any worse.
“It’s something we have to accept, learn from and try and get ourselves back on track,” he said.
“We have to be more inventive, more creative. Barnsley’s two finishes were good finishes but perhaps we could have done better in the build-up to those.”
Cardiff loan defender Deji Oshilaja looks set to miss out again for the Gills in midweek due to injury.
