Gillingham will be making a return to the north French coastal resort of Le Touquet this summer.
The Gills are in France for a six-day trip in between their pre-season matches against Tonbridge Angels (July 11) and Bromley (July 21).
Le Touquet has been a regular venue for the Gills in recent years and boss Justin Edinburgh is looking forward to getting his squad together for some team bonding.
“I am delighted the chairman has allowed us to do that, it’s a fantastic gesture,” said Edinburgh.
“We will have some new members in the squad and that goes a long way to getting the team bonding and the morale.
“We are going to an excellent facility where we can get some real quality grafting into the players. We are looking forward to it tremendously.”
The Gills are due to play a match while in France but details have yet to be confirmed.
Edinburgh’s squad are due back to the club on June 29 and 30 for testing before returning to the training ground on Wednesday, July 1.
“I’ve made contact with a few of the players and they are all looking forward to the season and getting going again,” added the Gills boss.
“When I came here I was delighted with the form we showed and if we can pick that up again then who knows?”
