Bradley Garmston is the latest player in the treatment room for Gillingham.
The left-back limped out of the game on Saturday at Shrewsbury after picking up a knock.
Manager Steve Lovell was awaiting news of Garmston’s injury before he spoke to the press at New Meadow.
He said: “Bradley has got a knock and I don’t know the extent but Barry (Fuller) can play out there, he does a good job.
"He did a really good job when he went on (as Garmston’s replacement)."
Garmston had been recalled to the starting XI after being without fellow left-back Connor Ogilvie. The Tottenham loanee had picked up an injury the week before against Peterborough.
“I think Connor will be back for next week,” said Lovell, who included young left-back Aaron Simpson in the squad on Saturday.
Lovell will also be hoping to have Regan Charles-Cook, Billy Bingham and Elliott List back for this weekend's game at Portsmouth.
All three were unable to travel to Shrewsbury because of injury.
