Striker Antonio German is back with the Gills following a loan spell at Aldershot.
The 23-year-old played six games for the Conference Premier side, scoring once.
Aldershot have decided against extending the deal and German is due to play for Gillingham’s development team at Bournemouth on Tuesday,
German has not played under boss Justin Edinburgh and he may well head out again before the loan window closes on Thursday.
His only goal for the Shots came in a 1-1 draw with Halifax.
German is out of contract in the summer.
Also included in the team to face Bournemouth’s development side is Josh Pritchard, who is coming back from injury, and Brennan Dickenson.
The Gills were beaten 6-1 by Portsmouth in their last South Division match, a week ago.
