Gillingham midfielder Scott Wagstaff is back in the treatment room

Scott Wagstaff’s latest injury could be just a minor setback.
The midfielder, involved in the two opening goals at Fleetwood, limped off with a hamstring strain midway through the first half.
Earlier this week, Wagstaff spoke of his delight at hitting form and turning his back on what has been on his injury woes.
Gills boss Steve Lovell wasn’t too concerned by the latest injury, however.
“I don’t think it is as bad as it looked,” said Lovell, after Friday night’s win at Fleetwood.
“It is unfortunate but hopefully he will be back soon.”
Report: Fleetwood Town 0 Gillingham 2
Reaction: Midweek rant pays off for Lovell
Wagstaff crossed for Josh Parker as the Gills took a second minute lead on Friday and he was there again to tee up Luke O’Neill for the second.
“He has been brilliant for us,” said Lovell.
“He has had a big part to play in the last three or four games, he has been our best player.
“It’s disappointing to have lost him but we have other boys who have a chance to come in. Jake (Hessenthaler) came on and did a good job for us in midfield. It gives others opportunities.”
