Gillingham have released a statement over a £291,070 county court judgement that was handed to them in April.
The club were ordered to pay the total by the county court money claims centre following a judgement, dated April 22, 2022.
Until now Gillingham haven't commented on the CCJ. They have now said they expect the CCJ entered against the club "to be set aside by the court shortly."
A club statement said: "Gillingham Football Club is pleased to announce that an amicable resolution to its ongoing dispute with SA Law LLP has been reached. The terms of the agreement are confidential and subject to the court's approval which we expect to receive very shortly.
"In light of the confidential nature of this settlement, we are unable to share any further details of the agreement that has been reached between the parties.
"The club would like to thank SA Law for the manner in which it has approached discussions to reach a mutually agreeable resolution to the matter."
SA Law solicitors are based in St Albans and is the same company that their former chief exec Tom Lawrence worked for. He has since moved to work for Southend United.
