Gillingham have signed Millwall striker John Marquis on loan.
The 22-year-old joins up with the Gills in time for their trip to Crewe on Saturday.
Marquis has signed a deal for a month, up to an including Gills’ home match with Sheffield United on February 7.
His last game for Millwall came on Boxing Day in a 6-1 defeat at Norwich , in what was only his second appearance for the Championship side this season.
He has, however, seen action with Cheltenham Town. He scored twice in 16 appearances for the Robins.
His arrival comes just days after the Gills decided to let Danny Kedwell join Ebbsfleet United.
Marquis has been given the number nine shirt vacated by Kedwell.
He has previously, prior to the current campaign, had loan spells with Portsmouth, Torquay and Northampton.
