Gillingham striker Rory Donnelly should be back in training on Wednesday.
The 10-goal striker has been struggling with a back injury and failed to make the team on Saturday for the game against Peterborough.
Donnelly was originally named in Gills’ starting XI but pulled out after the warm-up.
“He should be fine for Saturday,” confirmed Gills no.2 David Kerslake.
“He didn’t want to start the game (against Peterborough) and then have to come off.”
The Northern Ireland striker was replaced in the team by Luke Norris, who will now be challenging him for a place upfront against Blackpool on Saturday.
Norris scored Gillingham’s opener in the 2-1 win over Peterborough at the weekend.
Gillingham will hope to have Dominic Samuel in the squad. His loan deal from Reading expires before the weekend but it’s likely he will extend his stay.
