Young former Crystal Palace winger Elliott List has signed professionally for Gillingham.
The Camberwell-born youngster recently linked up with the Gills’ development side following his release by the Eagles.
He was a second half substitute for Gillingham in the recent Kent Senior Cup defeat to Charlton Athletic.
List revealed the news on twitter, saying: “Happy to have sign my first professional contract with The Gills. Hopefully more good things to come.”
Palace described the player as a “pacey right winger who is brave on the ball, likes to run at people and has shown great potential.”
The Gills are expected to announce their retained list by the end of the week, with a handful of senior players awaiting contract decisions.
Goalkeeper Glenn Morris, defenders Leon Legge and Gavin Hoyte, along with midfielder Danny Galbraith will find out if they have a future at the club.
Left-back Joe Martin announced his departure on Monday and is already in talks with interested parties over a move elsewhere.
