Gills have also agreed new one-year deals with three young professionals.

Josh Hare, Devante McKain and Aaron Millbank have all signed contracts.

Hare, 19, is yet to make his Gillingham debut but was on the bench three times last season. He had loan spells at Hastings, Maidstone, Eastbourne and Whitstable.

McKain, 19, has made two first-team appearances for the Gills since joining from Maidenhead for a nominal fee in November 2012. McKain, whose only appearance last season was as a substitute in the 3-2 defeat at Crawley in September, spent time on loan at Bromley.

Millbank, 19, made his Gills debut in the 1-1 draw against Shrewsbury on the final day of last season and has impressed boss Peter Taylor in recent months.
