FRANK WOOLLEY, one of the county's best known junior football stalwarts, has been honoured with the presentation of the Football Association's prestigious 50-year service award. Mr Woolley, life president of the Medway Today Sunday Football League, received the award from Kent County FA vice-chairman Colin Boswell at a ceremony at the Red Dog at High Halstow, near Rochester.
Also in attendance was Barry Bright, a director of the Football Association and UEFA and chairman of the KCFA, plus members of the Medway Today Sunday League management committee. Mr Boswell said: "He is one of the nicest gentlemen it has been my pleasure to meet, not only in football but in life."
