Chatham boss Kevin Horlock believes his side are a match for anyone on their day in Ryman League Division 1 South

Chatham face another of the top teams in Ryman League Division 1 South this weekend and boss Kevin Horlock is up for the challenge.
A week on from their goalless draw at second-placed Dorking Wanderers, the Chats host a Worthing side in third.
Worthing have almost 30 points more than Chatham so far this season but the stats don’t worry Horlock.
He said: “We’ve got a little spell of games where we’re playing teams near the top but I don’t fear teams at the top.
“On our day, we’re a match for anyone, like we showed last week.
“It’s a home game and we’re looking to improve on our home form. We’re in good spirits and looking forward to it.”
Asked why sides like Dorking and Worthing are so far ahead of his team, Horlock said: “They’ve got that winning mentality. They’ve possibly been together a little bit longer.
“They’re organised and probably know the division a little bit better than our group of players.
“We are a young squad still. We’ve got quality but a little bit naïve at times and maybe make the wrong decisions.
“We are learning, the group is getting stronger all the time and I’m looking to get results that secure us in this division, which we’re not a million miles away from – probably one or two results.
“It’ll be difficult for us to finish in mid-table now but you never know. We want to win as many games and get as many points as possible."
