Gillingham have cut their season ticket prices this summer in a bid to attract fans back to Priestfield – but how much does it cost to watch football in Kent?

Gills fans who took advantage of their early-bird offer paid just £300 for a seat in The Rainham End for the 2019/20 season.

The cheapest price in the ground has now gone up to £330 for an adult but it still compares favourably with the county’s leading non-league sides.

Ebbsfleet charge £320 for an adult season ticket, with an additional £23 if you want to reserve a seat for the season.

Dover’s early bird offer is still open at £315 but an adult season ticket increases to £340 after the end of June – more expensive than the cheapest adult price at Gills.

There is still time to snap up two of the early bird offers in National League South. Dartford charge £220 for an adult season ticket, increasing to £250 after June 30 – with an additional charge of up to £60 to reserve a seat for the season.

Tonbridge represent the best value at this level with a season ticket still available at £180 for adults to the end of June, the price increasing to £230 once the offer expires.

At relegated Maidstone, an adult season ticket costs £295 for a seat or £250 for standing. The early bird offer was £25 cheaper for either option.

Welling’s early bird offer of £190 for an adult season ticket expired some time ago. A season ticket now costs £230 for the new season with a stand season ticket coming in at £265.

In the Bostik Premier, Folkestone and Margate both have early bird offers running.

Invicta charge £180 for an adult season ticket, rising to £200, while Gate charge £145 until June 14 when the price increases to £180.

For those fans that cannot afford a season ticket, there is a marked difference in matchday prices with the cheapest ticket at Priestfield to watch Gills coming in at £24.

Dover top the charts in the National League with admission at £18 per game and Ebbsfleet will charge £17.

In National League South, Maidstone are at the top end of the scale with matchday admission at £15 for adults.

Dartford have kept their matchday admission at £14 for a fifth successive season, Welling have put their price up to £13 for the new campaign – a figure matched by newly-promoted Tonbridge.

Both Folkestone and Margate will charge £11 per game in the Bostik Premier.

All clubs offer various reductions for concessions, but to make a fair comparison we’ve used the standard adult prices published.
