Gills travel to Bradford on Tuesday with player-of-the-moment Bradley Dack insisting Justin Edinburgh's side are no one-man show.
The attacking midfielder has netted three goals in as many games, helping Gills thrash Sheffield United on the opening day, beat Plymouth in the Capital One Cup and earn a draw at Port Vale on Saturday.
“This is probably the best run of form I have had,” admitted 21-year-old Dack.
“It’s lovely to get the goals but it isn’t just about that and it’s not just about me.
“We have worked hard as a team and the last three games have been top drawer. We work hard for each other and trust each other out there.
“We played brilliantly against Sheffield United and we have to try and perform like that every week, with a bit of consistency.
“That is what we lacked last year, winning one and losing one. We have shown this season, like at Plymouth being a goal down with 10 minutes left, we have got that steel about us to go and win the game."
