Gillingham striker Liam Nash has scored two goals in two games on loan at Leatherhead

Caretaker boss Steve Lovell has been delighted with Liam Nash’s goalscoring form at Leatherhead.
Gills striker Nash has made an immediate impact, scoring in each of his first two games for the Bostik Premier side, after joining them on loan for a month last week.
He netted on his debut in the league against Folkestone and followed up with a goal in the club’s FA Trophy game against Royston Town on Saturday.
Lovell is hoping the scoring form continues.
Boss Lovell said: “It’s exactly what I wanted. I wanted him to go out and play and play a level where he is going to be pushed a little bit.
“Nash is a good player, at what level we don’t know. All I have said to Nashy is go out and score goals, play football, come back and give me a problem.
“It he goes out and scores a few and he has been playing well then it’s a good problem to have. I am then confident of throwing him into a game, whereas now I am not because he hasn’t been playing.
“That goes for Bradley Stevenson (on loan at Tonbridge Angels) as well, exactly the same.”
Leatherhead are set to face big-spending Billericay Town on Thursday night, in a televised FA Cup first round replay, but Nash won’t be involved.
Competition rules state that only players who are eligible to play in the original tie can take part in a replay.
He will have to wait until Sunday to resume his spell with the club, when they host Wingate & Finchley in the league.
