Man treated for smoke inhalation after burning food in Montfort Road, Strood

A Man had to be treated for smoke inhalation after burning his food.
Firefighters from Medway were called out to Montfort Road in Strood at 4.08am today.
On arriving they realised there was no fire but the property was filled with thick smoke from cookery gone wrong.
South East Coast Ambulance was called and the man had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
After using smoke clearing equipment the fire crews left at 4.25am.
