Medway Messenger Sunday League round-up (06/12/20): Quested beaten by Bells

The two unbeaten teams in the Senior Section went head to head on Sunday when the league returned following the second national lockdown.

Nine matches still went ahead and it was Bells who shocked Quested by running out 3-2 winners.

Goals from Emmanuel Abe, David Abe and Emmanuel Oli saw the hosts move level on points with Qs at the top of the table, albeit the champions have one game in hand.

16A went top of the Premier Division with a 4-1 win over Hempstead United thanks to goals from Kane Taylor, Jack Shaw, Ben Sheldon and Chimdi Otuadinma.

There were three games in Division, including a convincing win for new leaders Wigmore.

They defeated New Brompton 7-1 with goals from Pete Jury, James Saffery (2), Aaron Saffery, Ben Saffery, Richard Gregory and Mike Slade.

Cliffe Woods Colts A and Medway Rovers 17 shared six goals and the points in a 3-3 draw.

Calum Clarke, Matt Wills and Charlton Summerfield were on target for Cliffe Woods Colts A with Caleb Dyce (2) and Max Garrett replying for Medway Rovers 17.

Joe Chaney claimed the lone strike for Medway United Central as they went down 6-1 to Omega 92, Jamie Nash (2), Rafael Shadare, Luke Whyard, Ryan Collier and Dan Lee did the damage.

FC Catalans set the pace in Division 2 following a 7-1 defeat of Gillingham Town. Jack Yeowell (2), Sam Heard, Jake Collins, James Day and Phil Day (2) were all on target.

Chatham Town MFC lost 4-1 to Cliffe Woods Colts Reserves. Dylan Lockyer's goal was not enough as Connor Hood, Michael Mason (2) and Steve Millerthe netted for the victors.

Taylor Bassett, Brad Fowler, Ben Martin, Stewart Gold (2), Jamie Gamble (3) and Kerry D’Rosario all netted in Medway Athletic 19's 9-1 victory over Rainham Eagles.

The only game in Division 3 saw High Halstow move from sixth to top spot with a 3-1 victory over ASK Medway, who drop down to third. Ross Wornham, Chris Cowburn and Bradley Kiddell scored their goals.
