Invicta Dynamos’ line-up this weekend could include two new signings after forward Frankie Harvey signed on Wednesday.

Harvey, 22, is the second player to join Mos in the space of a week after the arrival of Finnish defenceman Joonas Liimatainen.

Mos host Cardiff NIHL Devils tomorrow (Saturday) at 5.15pm in South Division 1 and travel to Swindon Wildcats on Sunday in the English Challenge Cup.

Harvey scored 32 goals and claimed 23 assists for the London Raiders last season.

Liimatainen’s arrival fills a slot in the roster left vacant following the recent release of former GB international Greg Chambers.

Blueliner Liimatainen, 23, joins the Mos after starting the current campaign at Elite League side Dundee Stars.

Head coach Kevin Parrish was delighted with his latest captures.

He said: “Frankie’s a top quality Brit who could almost certainly be plying his trade in the league above and he will bring even more quality to the Dynamos over the remainder of the season.

“He has great vision, a good hockey brain and will always earn his spot in front of goal.”

As for Liimatainen, Parrish said: “Even at such a young age, he has played at the top level back home and here in the Elite League. He impressed in Dundee with his simple but effective approach to the game.

“We’ve conceded more goals than I would like so far but Joonas has a cool head and will bring us a little more composure in our own zone.”
