Invicta Dynamos could move joint top of the NIHL South Division 1 with a home win this weekend.

The Mos face London Raiders at Silver Blades on Sunday knowing a win will draw them level with Chelmsford Chieftains and Wightlink Raiders.

Neither the Chieftains or the Raiders are in league action, which gives the Mos an opportunity to join them at the top.

Standing in their way are a London side who are the only team to have beaten them in the league this season, winning September’s clash 5-2.

The Mos, however, will be confident of getting a result having won their last six games. Last time out they thrashed league champions Chelmsford Chieftains 6-1 in the Southern Cup.

That win ensured that, for the third week running, Kevin Parrish’s side claimed maximum points. Sunday’s game followed Mos’ exciting 7-6 NIHL South Division 1 victory over Solent & Gosport.

It needed a last-gasp goal from Arran Strawson to win that match after Solent had come back from 6-3 down to draw 6-6.

The Solent game saw Dan Fudger return to the ice following injury and he struck the opener. Juraj Huska and Callum Fowler both scored twice while Shaun Wild also found the target.
