Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish has solved his netminder problems by bringing in Chris Douglas for the new season.

The Mos struggled for a regular goalie last season after axing David Wride midway through the NIHL South Division 1 campaign.

Andy Moffat came out of retirement to help the Mos after being left short.

“We haven’t always had the best of luck when it comes to netminders,” said the Mos head coach. “Whether it be injuries, players departing or various other factors, so it’s great for us to have a deal in place for someone of Chris’s ability and background to come into the side.

“Any team that wants to win anything in hockey needs a safe pair of hands between the posts and I believe we’ve got exactly that following this signing.”

Douglas became the sixth man to commit himself to the Mos for the new season, with five of those being new arrivals. Only Arran Strawson has so far signed on from last season’s squad.

Douglas, 33, arrives from the Bracknell Hornets, having previously iced for the Oxford City Stars and Bristol Pitbulls.

Before that, he spent a decade playing at the higher level, including spells at Swindon Wildcats, Bracknell Bees and the Romford Raiders.
