Gillingham boss Justin Edinburgh must decide whether to stick or twist for Tuesday night’s trip to Plymouth.

The Gills thrashed Sheffield United on the opening day of the season but now face League 2 Plymouth Argyle away in the Capital One Cup.

Edinburgh has plenty of options should he wish to make changes for the first round clash.

Bradley Garmston, Rory Donnelly, Jermaine McGlashan and Max Ehmer were all unused substitutes at the weekend, as was keeper Glenn Morris, who is expected to be pushing Stuart Nelson for the no.1 spot all season.

New signing Josh Wright got a late run-out against the Blades but he too will be pushing for minutes on the pitch against Plymouth.

But the Gills boss may be reluctant to change a team that did so well on their first day back in action.

Midfielder Aaron Morris might not be risked. He picked up a knock on Saturday and was replaced at the break by Jake Hessenthaler.

Cody McDonald (ankle) and Doug Loft (calf) have both been absent for several weeks and are not expected to be back in contention until the Gills travel to Port Vale on Saturday.

What do you think? Should the manager make changes for the Capital One Cup game?
