Gillingham will entertain Championship side Brighton this summer.
Chris Hughton’s side finished their 2014/15 campaign just above the drop-zone in England’s second tier.
They will visit Gillingham on Wednesday, July 29 with a 7.45pm kick-off.
The Gills last met their former Priestfield tenants in August 2011, for a League Cup clash, which Brighton won 1-0.
July’s game could be a chance for Brennan Dickenson to face his former side. The left-sided player left the Seagulls for Gillingham last summer.
It’s the second pre-season match that the Gills have announced.
They will also travel to Ryman League, Premier Division side Tonbridge Angels on Saturday, July 11, with a 3pm kick off.
Steve McKimm’s side finished 20th in Ryman League, Premier Division last season. Gills boss Justin Edinburgh plans to name a first team squad for the trip to the Longmead Stadium.
