The top four sides in the Southern Counties East League are separated by just two points after they all won again on Saturday.

Leaders Chatham were given a scare at Erith Town, who led 2-1 at one stage before being beaten 6-3 at Erith Stadium.

Matt Bodkin put Chats ahead before Russell Bedford and Tolu Jonah turned the game in Erith’s favour.

Jordan Robins levelled the scores on the stroke of half-time and Dan Bradshaw put Chats ahead five minutes after the break.

Jack Evans scored a penalty but Fred Obasa replied again for Erith to make it 4-3 with over 20 minutes left.

However, Ryan Hayes’ corner went straight in almost immediately and Reece Butler rounded off the win late on.

Corinthian remain second on goal difference following a 4-2 success at AFC Croydon.

First-half goals from Josh Stirman and Ryan Sawyer put Corinthian in control before Billy Murphy reduced the arrears after the break.

Oscar Housego put Corinthian 3-1 ahead before Louis Clarke added a fourth, Nahum Green replying with a late penalty for the hosts.

Tunbridge Wells sit one point further back. A capacity crowd of 300 saw them defeat Glebe 2-1 thanks to Richard Atkins’ 89th-minute goal.

Both teams scored in the opening five minutes with Jamie Philpot cancelling out Euan Sahadow’s opener for Wells.

Sheppey had arguably the toughest fixture of the leading sides, but they managed to overcome Beckenham at Holm Park.

Another capacity crowd of 300 saw both teams again score early on with Danny Leonard’s opener for Sheppey cancelled out by Harvey Brand.

Tyrone Pink put Becks ahead just before the break but Connor Wilkins levelled on the hour and Billy Bennett scored the winner with just four minutes left.

Hollands & Blair are up to sixth as they overcame K Sports 2-1, extending the visitors’ winless run to 10 league matches.

Tom Loynes put Blair ahead but Michael-Frazier Osunkoya levelled on the half-hour. Matt Gething scored Blair’s winner against his former club with 12 minutes left - just after Phillip Abbott collected a second yellow card for K Sports.

Bearsted ran out comfortable 4-1 winner at Welling Town thanks to a brace from the aptly-named Harrison Hatfull plus goals from Jordan Ababio and Tom Penfold. Richard Jimoh replied for the hosts.

Canterbury came from 2-0 down to defeat 10-man Punjab United 3-2. Luke Adams and Rohan Badbhagi had put Punjab in control within the first 15 minutes.

But Canterbury roared back in the second half, goals from Danny Rumble, Danny Keyte and Dale Horton doing the damage. The winner arrived in the fourth minute of injury time just after Punjab had been reduced to 10 men.

A Jamie Humphris hat-trick led Erith & Belvedere to a 3-1 win at Crowborough while the games between Fisher and Deal and Lordswood and Balham both finished goalless.
