Just four teams still have a 100 per cent record after the second round of matches in the Southern Counties East Premier Division.
Nicky Southall’s Lordswood made it two wins out of two after a 4-1 home success over Fisher with goals from Will Currie, Matt Gething and Jake Embery putting them in charge at the break.
Edward Sata pulled a goal back immediately after the break but substitute Elliott Duncan rounded off the scoring in the final minute.
Larkfield & New Hythe won 2-0 at home to Glebe. Substitute Matt Day’s second-half penalty adding to Alvin Turyatemba’s opener just before half-time.
Jack Hopkins’ injury-time header proved the winner for Punjab United at home to Tunbridge Wells.
The visitors led at the break through Jacob Feasey before Reece Deakin levelled from the penalty spot midway through the second half.
VCD Athletic claimed their second win, 2-1 at home to Hollands & Blair. Second-half goals from Dieko Falade and Bethel Gboda put Vickers 2-0 ahead before Rob Gillman pulled one back for the visitors.
Title favourites Faversham were held to a 1-1 draw at Holmesdale, despite taking a second-minute lead through Sam Hasler’s penalty. Substitute Jack Church’s left-foot finish on 86 minutes earned his side a point.
Snodland’s Stanley Oldfield and Ryan Thompson both scored twice as they won 4-1 at home to Stansfeld, who had opened the scoring through Harvey Mead.
Freddie Baker’s late goal was enough for Erith & Belvedere to get their first win, 1-0 at Kennington while Ryan Philpott scored twice as Lydd won 3-0 at home to Sutton Athletic.
Rusthall ran out 3-1 winners at Whitstable thanks to goals from Tarik Ibrahim, Daniel Blunn and Charlie Clover while Corinthian won 2-0 at home to Bearsted courtesy of Shawn Jewett-Ricketts and Mefose Esumobi.
Five sides have won both opening matches in Division 1, most notably Canterbury who won 6-1 at Greenways with Connor Coyne and Mo Cham both scoring twice.
Faversham Strike Force won 3-0 at Clapton Community while Max Morgan was on target as Rochester won 2-0 at home to Tooting Bec.
Newboys Soul Tower Hamlets won 1-0 at Meridian and FC Elmstead beat Lewisham by the same scoreline to join them on six points.
