Goalkeeper Stuart Nelson has ended his Gillingham career after agreeing to terminate his contract.
The 36-year-old leaves after making over 200 appearances for the club.
Nelson joined the Gills in 2012 and was a key man for Martin Allen's League 2 title-winning side, playing every game.
His 223 appearances for the club puts him third on the all-time list of goalkeeper appearances for Gillingham. Only Ron Hillyard and John Simpson have played more.
He lost the no.1 spot to Tomas Holy this season and has made just two appearances, both in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Nelson also played for the Gills in their Kent Senior Cup Quarter-Final defeat to Maidstone.
A club statement said: "The club would like to thank Stuart for his loyalty, professionalism and tireless service while at Priestfield and we wish him every success in the future."
He is the second keeper to leave the Gills this month after Steve Arnold quit to join Barrow.
With both Nelson and Arnold now gone, it leaves youngster Tom Hadler with an opportunity to push Holy for the no.1 spot.
