Recently released Gillingham goalkeeper Stuart Nelson has joined League 2 Yeovil Town.
Nelson agreed to end his contract with the Gills at the end of January, enabling him to find a new club outside of the transfer window.
Yeovil sit 17th in League 2 and have been looking for a keeper following a season-ending injury to first-choice keeper Artur Krysiak. Nelson joins on a deal until the end of the current campaign.
Nelson, 36, spent five and a half years at the Gills and became a fans' favourite, helping the club secure the League 2 title in his first season.
He made 223 appearances for the Gills, putting him third on the all-time list of goalkeeper appearances for the club, behind only Ron Hillyard and John Simpson.
Yeovil face Carlisle on Saturday, with Nelson challenging Jonny Maddison for a starting spot.
