Gillingham manager Steve Lovell must decide to stick or twist over goalkeeper selection

A goalkeeping dilemma faces Gillingham boss Steve Lovell this weekend.
Tom Hadler made his debut last Saturday, in a 3-0 defeat to Blackpool, but Lovell must now decide whether to keep him there or recall regular stopper Tomas Holy.
Lovell wasn’t blaming Halder for the Blackpool result, but he hasn’t ruled out returning his more experienced goalkeeper to the starting line-up.
“That is something that we will have a think about,” said the Gills boss, ahead of the trip to Bristol Rovers.
“Tom did all right Saturday, he looked very confident. He didn’t have too much to do, to be honest, but it was a good debut for him and one that he will build on.
"He is a good lad, a good keeper and I am pleased because he gave me confidence when he was out there.
“I am happy with him but now there are all kinds of things we have to look at coming into Saturday and we will see how training goes.”
Lovell expects to have defenders Gabriel Zakuani (head) and Bradley Garmston (ankle) back available this weekend.
Captain Lee Martin will be monitored after lasting just 45 minutes last week, taken off at the break with a chest infection.
The Gills boss admitted starting him might have been a mistake, saying: “He wanted to give it a go. In hindsight it might have not been the right thing to do but I had to go with his judgement.
"Credit to him but he was struggling at half-time so I had to bring him off.”
Striker Rhys Murphy is injured but Lovell has few other injury concerns, adding: "We should have near enough a full squad to choose from."
