The Shouting Men: Gillingham defender Max Ehmer writes exclusively for the KM Group

It’s good to see that both of my teams are starting to get some results.
My parent club, QPR, are in a similar position to Gillingham and it is beginning to click for them.
Like the Gills, they also have to improve their away form and I am sure they will. With the players they have got, they should be a top-half team in the Premier League.
They are beginning to get good results and I think they’ll stay up. They should do, especially with the money pumped in.
It is a good club and Harry Redknapp is a good manager.
I heard some good things about Peter Taylor, as well, before I came to Gillingham. My old team-mate at QPR, Angelo Balanta, played for him at Wycombe and told me a bit.
I already knew Doughty, Antonio and Aaron Morris and they spoke highly of him.
Gillingham might not have won away in the league, like QPR, but it’s not affecting the players. To be honest, it’s not really been spoken about. It means we won’t be worrying about it when we got to Doncaster.
This will be my first away game after a couple of appearances at home. But the way we played in my first game, against Port Vale, is not like a team struggling.
We all know last Saturday’s game wasn’t the best but sometimes you have to grind out a result and it’s always good to win.
