We’ve got plenty of good young players in our squad and at the minute Elliott List is definitely the one to watch.

His pace is a joke. He’s a bit of a dangerman and always makes the defenders frightened. I am not sure if anyone at the club is quicker, maybe Bradley Garmston.

There have been a few other new faces in the squad recently.

Ben Chapman was a youth team player with me when I first came to Gillingham and he was a big character then. He is a very good player, a central midfielder.

He reminds me of Josh Wright a bit, with the way he represents himself. On the pitch he is a simple player but he loves a crunching tackle and he is definitely one to watch.

Finn O’Mara was on the bench on Tuesday. He’s a centre-back, a big lad and actually a Millwall fan and so he was buzzing. It was a big thing for him.

He is a very good player, he’s been well brought up and doesn’t really have a bad side to him. He is a good lad.

Bradley Stevenson was on the bench last weekend and he is definitely one to watch. He is an attacking midfielder with a good eye for goal. We get on well and I have supplied him with quite a few of his goals.

Mitchell Dickenson is a couple of years older than me and he has also done well. He is a steady player and a big lad.

Now I’ve got a couple of starts I want to make it five and then progress from there and get as many as I can. We have a long way to go this season and I hope to get a lot more.

We’ve got Oldham coming here on Saturday and we need to make sure we get something from the game.

It will be hard but at home the fans will be behind us and we just have to turn up, prove everyone wrong and get off this run we’re on.
